I am proud to be a granddaughter, daughter, niece, sister, mother and aunt to some pretty awesome people. Each of them has shared with me in some way and helped me to be better than the day before. I have worked with young people for more than twenty years. I earned degrees in Psychology (B.S.), School Counseling (M. Ed.), Specialization in School Counseling (Ed.S.) and Administration and Supervision (Ed.D.). I am fortunate to have been trained by amazing mentors and professionals throughout my career. My professional journey has taken me many places and allowed me to meet many fascinating people. Since becoming a Professional School Counselor in 2006, it continues to be a pleasure working with young people in a formal educational setting. I am encouraged when I talk with students and professionals about their matriculation toward excellence.

As a Professional School Counselor, I am committed to the academic, social and mental well-being of the student. That involves working with a myriad of people, attending conferences and lots and lots of reading. I enjoy sharing what I learned with my peers and with the students I work with. This site was created to share information with you that I learned along the way. I often say '...you never know what you don't know until you don't know it!'
